Five Deodorant Habits You Need To Stop Immediately.

Most of us have been using deodorant and antiperspirant, we just roll/spray and go. And applying deodorant should be a daily routine for most if we want to smell good all the time. But did you know that there are deodorant habits that you should need to STOP right now?

Some deodorant habits have the following negative effects:

– Loss of effectiveness

– Skin irritation

– Scent confusion

– Bad hygiene

1. Not putting deodorant on right after getting out of the shower. The longer you wait to apply deodorant the more you wind up just spreading your sweat around when you finally do. The cleaner the skin, the more effective the deodorant.


2. Not reapplying throughout the day. Deodorant doesn’t last forever, so it’s important to reapply throughout the day. Cleaning the area with a baby wipe before you reapply is even more effective.


3. Not using the right stuff. If you have sensitive skin go for a natural deodorant that doesn’t contain as many chemicals. If you tend to sweat a lot, use an antiperspirant.



4. Not matching your deodorants with your other products. If you mix up your scents (e.g. use an apple-scented deodorant and a floral-scented shampoo) Try using similar and compatible scents for the products you use.


5. Not applying before bed. Applying antiperspirant before you go to bed can make a huge difference. Due to the fact that you don’t tend to sweat as much overnight, the antiperspirant will have a chance to clog your pores and will work more effectively after reapplication in the morning.
