Philippines is known for celebrating very long Christmas season. When Ber months strikes, we already put our decoration for Christmas. You can see colorful decos almost everywhere in the Philippine archipelago. We are known for having a very happy and colorful Christmas. From flashing Christmas lights to dancing colors of Parol (star-shaped lantern).

Also, food during Christmas season is so out of the world. Don't mind your diet during this season because you'll never stop eating when Christmas season arrives. Filipinos will invite you to eat at their house. Even you don't know them. Hospitality at its best!

The Festival of Lights runs daily from November 15, 2016 to January 8, 2017 at 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm with 30 minutes interval.

The province just south of the National Capital Region, Cavite is home to several festivities and celebrations in line with Christmas. The Maytinis Festival, which highlights the rich CaviteƱo tradition, is held during Christmas Eve. The long list of churches here can also be an interesting addition to your itinerary.

9. Davao

The province of Davao sparkles during the Christmas season, thanks to the combined efforts of the government and its people. You can bring your family to People’s Park, Eden Nature Park, Matina Town Square and many more amazing attractions that won’t hurt your pocket. This destination is great for the budget-conscious.

10. Nuvali, Sta Rosa Laguna

Ayala Land’s largest eco-community estate Nuvali launched on Saturday the “Magical Field of Lights,” the first-ever lights and sounds show to light up an entire outdoor field.

A sequel to last year’s maiden launch, the nightly show may be enjoyed by visitors from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Nuvali football field right beside the retail complex.

It features colorful light spheres scattered all over the fields as well as a 50-meter light tunnel, festive LED Christmas trees and dandelion light installations.
