Wildflower is a 2017 Philippine revenge drama television series starring Maja Salvador, together with an ensemble cast. The series premiered on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida evening block and worldwide on The Filipino Channel on February 13, 2017, replacing Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7 - Mga Kwento ng Dream Team ni Kuya. The series is scheduled to end on February 9, 2018; a total of 257 episodes will have aired at the time of completion.



The political thriller series deals with topics such as corruption, extrajudicial murders, abuse of power, fascist dicatorships, power, terrorism, mafia syndicates, human rights abuses, graft, totalitarian terror, and even mental disorders such as paranoid schizophrenia.


After a 257 episodes of the show, they have been guesting some of the shows of the network. Including Vice Ganda's Gandang Gabi Vice. Where Maja Salvador and Aiko Melendez were featured and interviewed by the Unkabogable Star.


Maja Salvador aka Ivy Aguas admitted on an episode of GGV that delivering english lines were not her strength.




"Di ba sa totoong buhay hindi naman ako mapag-Ingles?" she said. 


Maja is known for her infamous line "Black is out. Gold is in. Just like gold, I am indestructible" in an episode of Wildflower dating back on October 2017.


But for Maja, her memorable scene is where Lily Cruz's grand entrance down a stairway in a golden gown with smoke effects and pyrotechnic displays.


Vice Ganda asked Maja on how she always come up with a convincing act as Lily Cruz/Ivy Aguas.

Vice asked Maja if it's true that she didn't like when she had an English dialogue in Wildflower

Maja answered "Hindi. Diba sa totoong buhay hindi naman ako mapag-english"

"Siyempre hindi nga si Maja Salvador 'yun, si Lily Cruz, so kailangan ko mapaniwala ang mga tao na CEO talaga ako at Inglesera kahit papaano." she answered. 


"'Pag may nakita na akong English 'yung linya ko, 24 hours ko 'yon pinag-aaralan. Tapos 'yung diction ko, pagdating sa set, 'Ate Aiko, paano ba 'to? Tito Pip?'" she said.


"Kasi 'di ba, 'pag may English na mga eksena, mag-abang ka na sa Twitter, kasi lahat perfect,"


"Kahit na may mga gano'n, OK din kasi siyempre, gusto mo matuto rin talaga, at gusto mo bigyan ng tamang pronunciation 'yung mga [lines]."

"Hindi ko malilimutan! October 4 'yon, October 5 birthday ko," she added, referring to the filming of the "I am indestructible" scene. "Sabi ko, 'Birthday na birthday ko, English ang ipapa-linya sa akin?' At hindi lang 'I am indestructible' 'yun, ha. Sabi ko, 'Paano ko ba hahati-hatiin 'to?' Buong araw, 'Black is out, gold is in!'" she added. 


Aiko Melendez who were together with Maja Salvador in Gandang Gabi Vice praised Maja on her work ethics.


Stating,


"One thing nice about her: She knows 'yung mga weaknesses niya, pero 'yung weaknesses niyang 'yon, gusto niya gawing strength some day,"
